For fans who just want the first two discs, there will also be the Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection Vol.6, which will street for $26.99 MSRP. That will be released on the same day as the Golden Collection

More disappointingly, this appears to be the last Looney Tunes Golden Collection release by Warner Bros. According to TVshowsonDVD.com, Warner Bros. is using the phrases "We've saved the best for last" and "The concluding release" in press releases for this collection.

However, an update on the site mentions that Warner Bros. may be hedging their bets on this one. Obviously, if they sell several truckloads of this collection, the W.B. will head back into their vaults for more Looney Tunes madness. They just won't be called Golden Collections, that's all.

Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 6 hits DVD shelves on October 21, 2008.
